Thriller videos
For this, we teamed into four people per team, and found a music video that we wanted to make a parody of. Above is Call Me Maybe, we uploaded the videos to Youtube and watched all of them in class. We're not really sure why the audio is so rusty and we weren't really able to fix it. But because it was our first project of the year, it was a great opportunity to bond with other classmates and learn who we work well with.
Above, is a portrait of myself I made through Adobe photoshop. We had the option of different styles including line art and illustrator paintings. I found myself having better success with Photoshop, so thats what I decided to work on. I made different layers for different colors and light differences in the photo and tried my best to match the color to those. After I layered all the layers together, this is what I came up with. (image above.)
Above, was just a quick project to teach us how to use the DSL cameras. Below are the different setting the camera was put on to get the above photo. I thought taking the photo outside would make for optimal lighting. After taking the photo, we were assigned to put the image in Photoshop and add the necessary filters, or change anything that you wanted to change. Underneath the below photo are the changes I made to the image.

For the above video, we were assigned to pick a music video or clip from a film to use for our video. We were to use the audio of the clip, and recreate the video. We wanted to do a music video as opposed to a film clip because we anticipated the amount of effort it would take to line up direct audio to mouth movements, and decide it wasn't vital to the quality of the video we produced. The only issues we had were getting the materials for the video, this including what we wore because we took different takes everyday.
This was our political propaganda advertisement. My partner and I both picked a historical figure from history to argue either a positive or negative perspectives. We chose Japan as the country our table would represent, and Emperor Hirohito as Japan's figure. I chose the positive-perspective to argue, above is the propaganda ad.

Here is the accompannying propaganda advertisement for the project on the left. We took quotes from the essays we wrote in English, and quotes from others who supported the points we wanted to get across. We used modern mid election propaganda as our model. I followed a similar template to one advertising Lorie Zapf.
